Jeroen van Evert
Jeroen van Evert (1975) followed his training in management informatics (1997) by accountancy which he completed in 2000. With his diploma he started work right away at Horlings, Brouwer & Horlings where, as assistant accountant he was employed with accounting controls. While working for HBH he followed the post-doctoral accountant's course at the University of Nijenrode. This he has now successfully completed.
Horatio's financial specialists have years of experience in a multitude of financial and strategic questions in the areas of share valuation, management economy, investment, finance, conference reporting, accounting control, and litigation support ( guidance with damage claims).
At Horatio Jeroen is primarily occupied as a specialist with accounting controls. In addition he has been working increasingly in damages assessment.
“The good thing about the Horatio team is that we look at our cases from all sides. We complement each other. While other specialists like Eppo and Emile focus on the management economics of a case, I occupy myself from the accounting control point of view with the reliability of the documents: are the annual accounts on which we base the damages calculation in order?
In addition to the accounting control my education has equipped me to deal with automation. Entrepreneurs like to deal with an accountant who understands IT. Many entrepreneurs are dependent on automation for their administration. As a business you want to be certain that the system has nu bugs and that there is supervision. Therefore I give a great deal of attention to automised systems and their security”.
